Highly advanced IT systems offer to consultants electronical medical record capabilities and remote access to clinical information. In addition to providing dialysis the nephrology team helps inform and educate patients and all family members about the lifestyle impact of kidney disease and its treatment.

Support for patients

Light meals are provided within the centre, using locally-sourced organic foods with no added preservatives.

Any particular needs of the patients are covered from the Unit with the participation of scientific advisors such as a general practitioner, a cardiologist, a clinical dietician and a physiotherapist.

For those patients with conditions which may lead to chronic kidney failure or require dialysis treatment, Santorini Renal will help prepare them by monitoring and controlling their related health issues such as blood pressure, management, anemia and nutrition.
